Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at one of Jakarta’s Irish pubs

This Saturday is St. Patrick’s Day, the Irish holiday that’s now celebrated all over the world as an excuse to drink beer all day long. Jakarta is certainly no exception, but if you’re going to celebrate St. Paddy’s day in style your best bet is heading to one of the Indonesian capital’s few authentic Irish pubs.  We’d recommend either McGettigan’s, the modern Irish pub slash sports bar in Mega Kuningan, or the more traditional Murphy’s in Kemang (or Murphy’s sister outlet in Plaza Senayan Arcadia, Molly Malone’s). Each will have live Irish music, beer promos, food specials and plenty of screens to watch the rugby. Check out their Facebook event pages below for more details.
