Some of the most eager Spider-Man fans in Indonesia have lost their place to be among the first to watch the web slinger’s latest upcoming installment, No Way Home, after a major ticketing platform said it had to issue mass refunds due to a “system error.”

One day before the cinematic release of the movie, social media users reported (and complained) en masse that Tix ID had sent them a notification announcing automatic refunds for their No Way Home tickets.

Tix ID this morning posted an apology on social media, saying that it had to refund No Way Home tickets bought during a pre-sale period between 11pm on Dec. 9 and 4am on Dec. 10 over an undisclosed error in the platform’s system.

Tix ID has suspended advance sales for No Way Home tickets until further notice. The platform has not disclosed exactly how many tickets it refunded.

Transactions for tickets for other movies made through Tix ID were not affected.

The problem seems to be exclusive to Tix ID, as customers who bought their No Way Home tickets via other platforms have not reported any refunds.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, which stars Tom Holland and Zendaya, opens in Indonesia on Dec. 15.
