Since it opened its first venue, Blowfish, back in 2003, the Ismaya Group has grown into one of Indonesia’s biggest players in the F&B, nightlife and live entertainment industries. One of the Netherland’s finest young jazz talents, saxophonist Kika Sprangers moves her audience with her colourful and fascinating compositions and smooth, lyrical style. Singapore-based UOB’s Painting of the Year Competition is one of the most prestigious art contests in Southeast Asia, open to rising and established artists from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Eight of the winning works from this year’s competition as well as those of 42 finalists will be on display at Jakarta’s Galeri Nasional until November 19.
