DeWolff has been described as “a three-headed rock ’n roll monster from the Netherlands’ Deep South, the fire-breathing love child of the great rock bands from the 1970’s and psychedelic cosmic radiation from the future”. Their mixture of inexhaustible energy, great musicianship, contagious enthusiasm and a play-like-it’s-your-last-show-mentality have earned them fans around the world. They’ll be performing a free concert at Dutch cultural center Erasmus Huis on Saturday night. Festival Satu Indonesia (Saturday)

This is not just a music festival featuring a number of well-known Indonesian indie bands like White Shoes & The Couples Company and Polka Wars, but also a political event aimed at getting young people interested in voting and supporting President Joko Widodo, who will be attending and giving a talk at the festival. There will also be talks by Jokowi’s campaign manager, Erick Thorir and comedian Ernest Prakasa. For more info

Joseph Vincent at The Pallas (Friday)

Joseph Vincent first shot to fame in 2008 when his cover songs on Youtube started racking up millions of views. Since then, the American singer-songwriter has been twice featured on NBC’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show and performed at well-known Los Angeles venues including The House of Blues and the El Rey Theatre. He has also performed sold out shows in Singapore, Canada, and Australia. Vincent will be playing this Friday at The Pallas along with opening acts Nadin Amizah and Oslo Ibrahim. For more info
