The “EXI(S)T” exhibition features fifteen young artists, representing the diversity of the Jakarta art scene, predicting and interpreting the future within the framework of their own personal interests as the artists, tackling issues such as spirituality,  gender, science, and the realities of cyberspace. Exhibit goes until June 5.

Even if you’re not familiar with the name Dawin you’ve almost certainly heard his smash hit ‘Dessert’ being played in the clubs or on the radio sometime in the last few months.




The Brooklyn-based musician is coming all the way to Jakarta for the official grand opening bash for the Pallas, the new glam club that has taken over Potato Head Garage’s cavernous space in SCBD’s Fairground complex.

For the latest edition of the Goethe-Institut’s Arthouse Cinema series, they’ll be presenting a compilation of German music videos from 1998-2015, along with a discussion afterward with  Ivan Makhsara from Rolling Stone Indonesia and music video director Eugene Panji. There will also be a bunch of mouthwatering Middle Eastern-style street food on offer as well!
