KATA, GAMBAR Goenawan Mohamad — Opening Exhibition, 10 Febuary, 2017 7:30 pm by Dr Sri Mulyani Indrawati Special Performance by AriReda — Dia.Lo.Gue Jl Kemang Selatan 99a — Exhibition Period : ( Open for Public : 11 Febuary – 5 March 2017 — Goenawan Mohamad seorang penulis lama (puisi, lakon, esei) dan perupa baru. #PameranKataGambar #GoenawanMohamad #sketsa #dialogueartspace #exhibition

Goenawan Mohamad is famous for many things, including his acclaimed poetry and his work to preserve press freedom and fight government oppression as the founder of Tempo magazine. One thing he isn’t known for is his visual art – despite a love for sketching, very few people have ever seen his artworks. Until now. Dia.Lo.Gue gallery in Kemang is holding an exhibition of Goenawan’s art titled “Kata, Gambar”  featuring a collection of new pieces, many of which combine art and poetry.

The exhibition will be opened on Friday by none other than Finance Minister Sri Mulyani and feature a performance by musical duo AriReda. The exhibition will run until March 5. For more info go to Dia.Lo.Gue’s website.
