These days you can find tons of restaurant reviews online from users of various sites such as Zomato and TripAdvisor. But there is a serious lack of professional restaurant reviews in Jakarta. User reviews are great, but you can never be sure if their tastes are the same are yours, or if they have any particularly biases against a certain kind of cuisine, etc. That’s why we think it’s important for somebody to being doing professional, independent restaurant reviews. Unlike many of the capital’s food bloggers, you never have to wonder if we’re getting special treatment or even taking money to write our reviews.
