Medan-based Korean convenience store franchise K3Mart, which is known as the first business in Indonesia to adopt South Korea’s self-service instant noodles concept (sorry, Goodle Noodle), has opened shops in PIK and Kemang.

K3Mart’s PIK store, which had its grand opening on Jan. 29, is particularly impressive. Upon entering the store, customers will see a massive, two-story display of instant noodles sourced from South Korea and around the world.

The PIK store is located just beside the West entrance to PIK’s delightful Pantjoran culinary center. Meanwhile, the Kemang store, which was also launched on Jan. 29, is more modest in size and shares a space with clothing store Playdate.

Naturally, both stores specialize in selling imported Korean food products in order to appease the K-obsessed masses in Indonesia.

Other than the two Jakarta stores, K3Mart boasts eight stores in Medan.
