Yuen Long woman ‘robbed after being zapped with stun gun’

A 40-year-old woman says she was robbed with a stun gun in Yuen Long in the early hours of this morning.

The woman was about to get into her car on Kam Sheung Road in the Pat Heung area when she felt an “electric shock” on the back of neck, reports Apple Daily.

She claims she pretended to faint, while a man, suspected to have operated the stun gun, grabbed her handbag.

It contained a Samsung smartphone (where’s an explosion when you need one?) and an unspecified amount of cash.

The perpetrator was said to have escaped in a white seven-seater vehicle.

The woman sustained injuries in her neck and hands and was admitted to Pok Oi Hospital in Yuen Long.

As of press time, the perpetrator is still at large.
