They’re back at it.

Another case of property agents brawling in public occurred this week, when two men flogging flats threw down outside the Tsim Sha Tsui Centre on Tuesday, according to Apple Daily.

The pair were both seeking potential buyers for the Urban Renewal Authority’s “Grand Central” redevelopment project.

They were advertising “super happy prices”, according to the outlet, which noted space within the project costs as much as HK$17,000 (US$2,180) per square foot, according to the outlet.

Things soon got unhappy. According to video sent to Apple Daily by another real estate agent, surnamed Chow, a middle-aged property seller wearing a white vest launched into a tirade against his blue shirt-wearing rival.

Though security guards arrived to try and calm the dispute, the situation escalated when Mr Blue Shirt retaliated and threw a punch. Mr White Vest sent a punch right back.

Two security guards, initially watching the dispute, then stepped in to break the pair apart. Police arrived at the scene though no arrests were reported.

Speaking to Apple Daily, Chow said Mr Blue Shirt was known in the local property pushing circles as a “generous and polite” kinda guy, who seldom got into fights.

However, the tough competition made physical confrontations frequent, he added.

“In order to make money, you have to do everything,”

“In fact, it is impossible to avoid conflicts when you are in this industry. Most of the time, people apologize”
