Suspect on the loose after randomly attacking man with umbrella in McDonald’s

The police are looking for an unidentified suspect after a man was attacked, seemingly randomly, with an umbrella in a McDonald’s in Ngau Tau Kok.

The victim, surnamed Pang and aged 26, was dining at McDonalds at before midnight yesterday, when a man barged into the restaurant and struck him repeatedly with the brolly, reports Apple Daily.

The unknown assailant immediately fled the scene, leaving Pang with a wound on his head.

Pan, who claims that he was simply eating and minding his own business, was sent to hospital immediately.

The police cordoned off the area, where blood droplets can be scene on the ground, for further inspection.

It is reported that the attacker is 1.7 metres tall, slender, and has a tattoo on his left arm. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a vest and blue slippers.
