Husky injured after falling from 9th floor flat in Cheung Sha Wan

A metre-long husky was injured earlier today after it reportedly fell from a ninth-floor-apartment in Cheung Sha Wan.

A resident of Cheung Lee Building at 443 Castle Peak Road said she heard barking at 8:07am and saw the poor pup lying on a fifth-floor patio, The Hong Kong Economic Times reports.

She called the police, after which the injured dog was carried to safety on a stretcher by officers and SPCA staff. A spokesperson for the SPCA told reporters that the pooch is a microchipped, fully grown female husky.

According to the police, initial investigations suggest no suspicious circumstances. The SPCA told Apple Daily that the dog sustained injuries to her lower body, and that the Association is in contact with her owners.
