Police are looking into a video of three alleged officers taking part in sexual acts, which preliminary investigation suggests depicts men posing as law enforcement.

The 10-second clip shows men wearing officer uniform, equipped with batons, handguns and walkie-talkies, in the middle of a three-way.

One “officer” is seen gripping the top of a wooden stool while engaging in oral sex with another, as a third man thrusts at him from behind.

In a statement on Facebook Saturday night, police said the case has been handed over to the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau for investigation.

Police said it does not rule out the possibility that the people in the video were posing as officers, noting the discrepancies between what the “officers” are wearing in the clip and the standard uniform in the force.

The internet, police emphasized, is “not a lawless virtual world,” adding that anybody who publishes “obscene articles” online face a maximum fine of HK$1 million (US$128,848) and three years in prison.
