Hong Kong netizens are trying to figure out what happened to a naked man who was spotted wandering around the streets of Chai Wan last night.

A photo posted onto a traffic-related Facebook group last night said the man was spotted outside Hiu Tsui Court, a housing estate near Siu Sai Wan at around 11:41pm.

It is not clear who the man is, where he ended up or whether anyone made a police report.

But despite the dearth of information available, this hasn’t stopped some netizens from speculating, quite reasonably, that the mystery man is either a Terminator-like cyborg assassin from the future, or Hong Kong actor Stephen Chow.

Netizens were making a reference to a Terminator-inspired scene from 1994 comedy called Love on Delivery, where Chow plays a dim sum delivery boy who takes up kung fu lessons to try and win the heart of a judo student.

This is of course not the first time that a naked night walkers has been spotted wandering around Hong Kong.

In February, a 24-year-old man was sent to hospital after he was spotted lying and rolling around the middle of a busy road in Yuen Long. The case was classified as “mentally impaired person found.”

In July, a 20-year-old man was spotted taking the MTR from Tsim Sha Tsui to North Point wearing nothing but a pair of Crocs and some earphones.

Throughout the journey, he was accompanied by MTR staff, until getting off at North Point station that evening where he was arrested by police.

It was later reported that the man was believed to have mental health issues and gave “incoherent responses” when questioned by officers.
