Missing teen found in Mong Kok after disappearing for 2 weeks

A teenager who went missing for two weeks has been found.

Gurung Chitra, aged 17, was found on Tung Choi Street in Mong Kok this morning, according to a police statement.

No further details were given by the authorities.

The Nepalese teen and HKID holder hadn’t been heard from since Nov. 10 after she suddenly flew from London, where she and her family reside, to Hong Kong without explanation.

Her mother reported her missing on Nov. 14 and local police launched a public appeal for Chitra’s whereabouts on Tuesday.
