Mainland newspaper says photographing pooping children is more uncivilised

The reporter who snapped viral shots of a mainland couple that let their two-year-old son squat and poop on a public Mong Kok street has provoked a Chinese mainland newspaper to publish an article criticising Hong Kong for blowing the issue out of proportion and labelling the photographer as even more uncivilised for taking a photo of such an act, as reported by the Apple Daily.

The huangqiu.com discussion board posted that although the parents shouldn’t have let their son poop on the street, the author felt that Hongkongers reactions to the incident were vicious and that the Hong Kong society should not encourage people to have such a vicious and negative attitude towards mainland tourists.

Which do you think is more uncivilised, pooping on the street or photographing the act?
