In a move that clearly says ‘f*** my neighbors’, a woman has been filmed in China encouraging her dog to pee in a communal elevator.

And, as the dog happy obligated, she joins 2018’s exclusive list of people who soiled elevators with urine. Other notable entries this young boy who drenched the buttons until the elevator malfunctioned, and another who copped a month of cleaning duties after a sneaky pee spree.

Well, maybe the real list isn’t so exclusive. With four million elevators in the mainland, there’s a good chance someone is peeing in one right now.

But anyways, back to the dog owner, who, according to mainland video site Pear Video, was caught on CCTV letting her pet pee inside an elevator in an apartment block in the city of Xi’an, Shaanxi province just before 2pm on Saturday.

For those of you wondering if it was just an accident and maybe the owner didn’t realise what had happened, nope.

The owner looks pretty complicit here holding the doors open and looking out to make sure no one’s about to walk past.

The video sharing website did not specify the name of the apartment block the CCTV footage came from, but reported that the dog owner owns an apartment in the complex, and that security staff paid her a visit to warn her to make sure her dog behaved, otherwise they would take it away.

Mainland netizens commenting on the video on microblogging website Weibo described the woman as “shameless”, a “low-quality neighbor”, and “not qualified to be a dog owner.”

She should definitely be made to take the stairs for a while.
