Police are looking into an incident involving a traffic cop who decided to get a little fancy with his motorbike skills.

A viral video circulating online over the weekend shows the cop, wearing a fluorescent jacket and his mask below his nose, riding a motorbike on Castle Peak Road in the direction of Tuen Mun.

As he nears a group of cyclists, he half-stands up on his pedals and rocks his hips left and right, as if to mimic the bikers bewildered by his act.

According to HK01, the cop is reportedly an officer with the Tsuen Wan district’s traffic division. Police said he was on his way to handle a complaint case in Tuen Mun when the video was captured.

Online, users said the traffic officer’s spectacle was dangerous and could constitute an offense to road safety regulations.

The video appeared to have been first posted on a Facebook page called HK Biker Hub. The 8-second video is an edited clip showing just four seconds of the cop standing up on his bike. The rest of the clip cuts to him driving normally and speeding off.
