Hong Kong men are the manliest in Asia, says Zippo survey

If surveys are to be believed, then Hong Kong is home to some of the most unattractive people, and, according to new data, some of the manliest men in Asia.

They go hand-in-hand, we guess.

Commissioned by lighter company Zippo and conducted by the Hong Kong Baptist University, a brand new survey interviewed around 1,000 Hongkongers of both sexes between the ages of 18 to 35.

The results show that Hong Kong men are considered to be the manliest in Asia with an average score of 6.13 out of 10 (so not that manly), followed by men from Taiwan and South Korea.

In true Hong Kong style, men from mainland China found themselves residing at the bottom of the list.

However, Hong Kong’s score drops to 5.72 if the male respondents are removed from consideration. Being a bit self-appreciating are you, gents?

Of all Hong Kong movie stars, Andy Lau is considered the manliest, followed by Chow Yun-fat and Daniel Wu.
