A fight between two septuagenarians over a noisy radio has left one of the two elderly gentlemen dead, according to reports.

The 73-year-old victim was stabbed twice in the chest outside Kwong Yuen Shopping Centre in Sha Tin yesterday about 3pm, the SCMP reported.

Taken to the Prince of Wales Hospital, he was ruled dead at about 5pm.

His alleged attacker, 77, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned.

He also has injuries — to his neck and mouth — and was treated at hospital, the Standard reported.

Superintendent Leung Kwok-wing, speaking to the SCMP, said initial information suggested the fight broke out following a dispute over radio noise.

He said an autopsy would be conducted on the victim.
