From fights over free seats to scrums to get through the door, the pressure cooker of public transport has pushed many people over the edge.
Then there’s this guy, who completely lost his shit.
The passenger was captured on video literally ramming his head into the front window of a double decker bus, after smashing the glass repeatedly with his fists and kicking it several times.
The footage appeared online today and was shot at the Tai Wai station public transport interchange.
According to on.cc, it’s not entirely clear what prompted the outburst which took place at around noon today inside the 46X bus, which goes from Mei Foo in West Kowloon to Hin Keng in the New Territories.
The outlet reported that the bus driver said the passenger wanted to be dropped off Tai Wai Market but failed to get off.
When the bus arrived at the public transport interchange, the man then walked to the front of the bus and the driver asked “sir, do you want to get off the bus?”.
Then all hell appeared to break loose, as the man began banging and kicking the windows, according to the outlet, which quoted the driver as remarking the passenger acted like “he could feel no pain.”
After failing to calm down the man, the driver called the police and did not let him leave until the police arrived.
After police received the report, they found, unsurprisingly, the man had injured his head, hands, and feet.
He was taken to hospital, and police are contacting his friends and family.
