A 37-year-old air hostess has apologized for slapping a police officer after video of her doing just that during a night out in Central was posted online.
The woman, surnamed Shi, told hk01 “I was in the wrong, I’m the one who has a problem,” when asked about the incident outside the Foxglove, a speakeasy hidden behind a boutique umbrella shop in Central.
The incident happened on Thursday evening, but the video was posted on Friday evening.
Shi told the website that she has been under a lot of pressure over the last few days, so she went out with friends and maybe had one drink too many. She said she got drunk and forgot what happened later that evening.
She added that she only needed to give a statement to police, but was concerned that the incident would affect her career.
It is not clear which airline Shi works for.
