Three police officers who have been charged with having sex with an underaged girl were released on bail on Thursday, according to local media reports.
The Hong Kong Economic Times said that the three officers appeared in the Shatin Magistrates’ Courts on Thursday.
The trio — two men aged 26 and one man aged 27 — is accused of having sex with a girl under the age of 16 and taking nude photos of her.
The Chinese-language paper said the three officers are charged with a total of 10 offenses, including unlawful sexual intercourse with children under the age of 16 and making child pornography, which happened between Jan. 2021 and Feb. 2022 in different hotels.
The case has been adjourned until Oct. 7.
