22-year-old arrested for photographing HKBU student in the bathroom

A 22-year-old HKBU student was reportedly caught photographing a fellow student, 20, in a bathroom stall yesterday morning.

The incident took place at around 11am on the university campus in Kowloon Tong, Apple Daily reports. Police arrested the 22-year-old on suspicion of outraging public decency.

An investigation by the Kowloon City District Criminal Investigation Squad is underway. 

A spokesperson for HKBU confirmed that an incident had occurred at a men’s toilet on campus, and that the case had been handed over to the police.

On Oct. 30, a 25-year-old research assistant at CUHK was arrested after he was allegedly caught filming a male student in the shower. 

The 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of accessing a computer with criminal or dishonest intent.
