Win tickets (and freebies) for The Anello’s EP release party!

Listening to one of their tracks – with a dash of trumpet there, a few lines of staccato Spanish rapping, and an Adam Levine soundalike crooning along – you may be forgiven for thinking that the Anello consisted of a full array of musicians.

In fact Hong Kong-based indie band has but two multitalented members, Texan Michal Garcia, 30, (right above) and the eponymous New Yorker Jeff Anello, 31, (left) who play more instruments than we can count, and exhibit a rare, unbridled creativity that they let flow with no apologies, and no pretentiousness.

The duo is releasing their very first EP, “Next 2 Me”, with a bang: a party will be held tomorrow night at local indie headquarters Hidden Agenda, with opening acts like GDJYB, Delf and Re:Flex (and your regular favourites food, and drinks). Of course, the afterparty will happen at Drop, the official sponsor of pretending-it’s-not-4am.

Luckily for you Coconauts, we have tickets and goodies to give away:

First prize: Two VIP tickets to the show
Second prize: Physical EP, t-shirt, wristbands and a video chat with the band for 15 minutes
