The HK Film Archive (HKFA) is keeping up with their role as the local custodian of cinema by screening the “Restored Treasures – Screen Makes Believe: Universal Studios Centenary Restorations” series, which could really do with a shorter title.
That aside, the restored copies of “Jaws”, “To Kill a Mockingbird”, “The Birds”, and “The Sting” will probably be the best things you’ll see on the big screen all year.
Due to popular demand, the HKFA has added three additional screenings of the films for June and July. But hurry – tickets for “Jaws”, the 1975 crème de la crème of shark movies, are being snapped up quickly!
