Clockenflap lineup complete with Kaiser Chiefs, Stormzy and Kid Ink joining

With just a few weeks left until Hong Kong’s premier music festival, the wait to find out who else is going to be tearing up the stage is over, with the full lineup for Clockenflap 2017 announced today.

If you predicted this year’s Clockenflap would be a riot, well then, you’ve been proved right, as UK indie legends Kaiser Chiefs will perform on Friday, Nov. 17.

Also joining from the UK is grime and hip-hop artist Stormzy, who has emerged as one of the biggest breakout names in England’s grime scene.

Also performing on that Friday is LA rapper Kid Ink.

Other acts announced for the lineup this afternoon include French hip-hop beatmaker Onra, Taiwanese funk-pop trio Cosmos People, and five-piece experimental indie rock bank Chochukmo.

The acts revealed today round out a solid roster of performers for this year that already includes Massive Attack, Feist, the Prodigy, and Skream.

Sadly, it was revealed earlier today that two acts scheduled to take the stage next month — Matthew Dear and Axel Woman — will be unable to make the trip to Hong Kong.

Tickets (available here) range from HK$930 to HKD$1,720 for adults, and HKD$570 to HK$1080 for students. Children under 12 go free. The “Phase 2” purchasing period is set to end on Oct. 30. Prices will go up after that if you’re looking for a little extra motivation to make the plunge.
