Popular South Korean girl group Blackpink will return to Hong Kong in January 2023 as part of their upcoming world tour.

The K-pop group posted the schedule of its Born Pink World Tour on its social media pages on Monday, which stated that they will be performing in the city on Jan. 13 and 14.

The concert series is set to kick off in Seoul on Oct. 15, 2022, before heading to the US and Europe.

The group will then perform in Bangkok on Jan. 7 and 8, 2023, Hong Kong on Jan. 13 and 14, Kuala Lumpur on March 4, Jakarta on March 11, Manila on March 25, and Singapore on May 13.

The announcement is long-awaited good news for Blinks — the official name of Blackpink’s fans — in Hong Kong, with the group last coming to the city in Jan. 2019.

The group is among the first foreign acts that came or are set to perform in Hong Kong after the Covid-19 pandemic began here in 2020 and the massive protests in the city in 2019 and 2020.
