Yes, you read that right, and no, this is not an article from 1998.
The BACKSTREET BOYS will be coming to Hong Kong to show us the meaning of being desperate for TWO WHOLE NIGHTS on April 22 and 23.
Maybe their agents didn’t have much faith in the ageing boy band’s ability to get eeeeverybooooodyyy to fill out the AsiaWorld-Expo, as they’ll be playing at the smaller venue of KITEC.
The entire gang – Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough, A.J. McLean and Nick Carter – will be gracing our city as part of their “In a World Like This” tour.
In celebration of the band’s 20th anniversary (holy crap!), the band will be making stops all over the world, including Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
We’re not convinced this means that “Backstreet Boys are back and better than ever”, as the press release so fanatically gushes, but we don’t really care.
Excuse us while we go brush up on our 90s dance moves and break out our tattoo choker necklaces.
