Acoustic, chilled and yet to be famous, local boy Nic Tinworth should be seen before he gets so big he forgets all about us.

Flaming Lips
Tenacious D, 7pm – 8pm, Harbourflap
This one is going to be packed, so if you’re hoping to catch Jack Black’s eye and thus be whisked into a frenzy of fortune and fame, you’d better get there early. Metal with comedy rock. If you don’t know Tenacious D, you really must.
Flaming Lips, 9pm – 10:30pm, Harbourflap
Both hits-wise and show-wise, The Flaming Lips are expected to take the Clockenflap crown this year. The psy-rockers from Oklahoma have never disappointed in their 30-year (and counting) career.
LTJ Bukem
Get your groove on to blues, Latin, rock, swing (and whatever else goes) with local cross-genre vets Stray Katz.
Robot, 8pm – 9pm, Robot Stage
Hong Kong and hardcore since 1997, Robot will be playing, quite fittingly, on the Robot stage. Get ready to bounce to some techno house.

Kind of a big deal, LTJ Bukem is credited with making drum & bass as massive as it is in the English capital.

These US alley cats are so cool they don’t normally play under their own names. They are highly sought after but seldom seen in the electronic circuit.

What’s cooler than being an openly gay rapper? How about banging beats and a smooth as silk lyrical spectacle.
If you like your electronic music with a dash of deep house (who doesn’t), don’t miss this highly recommended French solo act.
Nitin Sawhney
And now for something completely different: Detroit techno and cosmic electro. Enjoy.

Despite hailing from the UK, Nitin Sawhney will be mixing it up with Indian and Asia beats as well as electronics and jazz.
Already appearing in a Coconuts feature on Hong Kong’s indie scene, this hybrid of local bands is somewhat of a super-group.

At only 15, this soul sister surely has a bright future ahead with a dreamy voice like hers. Oh yeah, and she’s one of ours!
