Uber and Canon came to us when they were looking for a regional publisher to create branded content for their Hidden Cities campaign. They needed a publisher with a regional presence and an engaged millennial audience who would connect with themes of urban exploration. Look no further, we assured them.
After consulting with Uber and Canon, we decided to go with #GoCoconuts campaigns titled Hidden Cities: Top Instagrammers snap stunning shots of least visited locales in 4 key Coconuts cities – Singapore, KL, Manila, and Jakarta. Each branded campaign was reinforced with rich media display ads and magazine-style banner campaigns on the 4 city sites.
In total, our campaign achieved 5,494,889 impressions in just four weeks. The in-depth articles with valuable and inspiring information and click-worthy headlines attracted 112,452 page views, that’s 40% more page views than average for a #GoCoconuts campaign.
Rich media interstitial ads reached an average CTR of 1.6% and rich media skins reached an average CTR of 0.85%. Pretty good when the industry average for rich media hovers around 0.1%.
