Stagwell taps Coconuts to join fast-growing affiliate network, service global creative and media clients

We at Coconuts are delighted to announce we are joining forces with Stagwell, as the global marketing and communications group built to transform marketing deepens its roots into our home turf — the burgeoning Asia Pacific region.

NASDAQ-listed Stagwell (STGW) has tapped Coconuts to join its quickly-growing global affiliate network as part of its its Asia expansion, where it will benefit from Coconuts’ killer lineup of award-winning media brands across Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bali, and Yangon that boast an engaged audience of millions.

Together, Stagwell and Coconuts will collaborate to serve clients a competitive mix of traditional and digital media services, consumer trend insights in the Asian market, and scaled media placement and distribution opportunities informed by first-party data across the Coco network, which also includes Coconuts TV, Coconuts’ video arm producing documentary and unscripted programs for the likes of Netflix, Discovery, and MTV.

A key player in this collaborative partnership will be Grove, Coconuts’ in-house creative studio which drives ideation and campaign management for brands. By joining forces, Stagwell’s impressive global client base will benefit from Grove’s unique brand of creative services, which are all about being fast, funny, and influential.

Also teaming up with Grove will be Stagwell’s roster of agencies in the region – including Assembly, Allison+Partners, 72andSunny, Forsman & Bodenfors, Ink, and more. Together, Grove and this all-star network will collaborate on pitches and marketing campaigns.

Stagwell is putting its money where its mouth is, investing heavily in the APAC region, which will see regional operations headquartered in Singapore.
