Coconuts launches brand studio Grove

Today we are excited to announce the launch of our new in-house brand studio, Grove.

Our specialty is producing fast, funny, and digitally native content for brands as a service, leveraging our expertise as a publisher with a highly engaged audience. Our core competencies are video production — from 15 second branded videos to hour-long travel documentaries, copywriting, and graphic design.

The impetus for Grove grew out of the volume of requests from advertising clients we received to create content for their social media, websites, and campaigns.

Grove will continue to produce all Coconuts branded content and advertising, but we are positioning ourselves to produce content for brands that is not necessarily distributed to the Coconuts audience.

Wherever our work appears, we will harness our publishing expertise and audience of millions across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong  to inform our content strategy.

We are ROI and target oriented with all our content production, whether that means delivering an engaging video for social media, a microsite which drives traffic, or a written story with a high time on page. We ensure that targets we set for clients are met and exceeded.

Grove will be led by managing director Tara Rattanaphas, based in Bangkok, and our 16-person staff is spread across Bangkok, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

“We believe there is a gap in the market for content production between creative agencies, which are often quite expensive, and online freelancer platforms, which often produce work of varying quality,” says Rattanaphas.

Grove clients already include Hilton, Moet Hennessy Diageo, Genting Cruises, Siam Piwat, and more.
