The Meteorological Department announced today that winter has officially arrived to Thailand and that – great news! – it’s going to be colder for the rest of the year.
According to the department’s statement today, temperatures and rainfall are decreasing in the North and Northeast regions of Thailand. For us Central folks, that means winter is definitely coming soon.
The department warned people to brace for colder temperatures and take care of themselves.
In Bangkok it will still rain over 60-70 percent of the metropolitan area at least until Sunday with a “slight” drop of temperature.
This week’s average temperature during the day will be between 31-33 Celsius in Bangkok.
