A villager was killed in Chonburi on Sunday when a shooter in a wedding procession fired a celebratory gunshot, and the bullet hit the innocent man in his home.

Thanet Inwong, who was just 36, was shot dead at his Ban Huay Khai Nao home as the procession, shooting guns into the air with the groom, passed by on their way to the bride’s home.

Investigators on the scene unearthed at least 24 spent cartridges from 11mm, 9mm and .38 caliber guns along the route they took. There was also a video of the procession that confirms that the party was shooting.

Apparently, the newlyweds may be fans of guns since the weapons are featured in their pre-wedding photos, reported Sanook.

However, the couple and their relatives refused to give the police any information and claims they “don’t know” who fired the gunshots into the air.

The video and images have gone viral on Thai social media, along with the invite to attend their wedding on Sunday at 9am.

Now, we’ve heard to pre-wedding photos featuring all kinds of things that couples love, from beer to street food to khon costumes. But guns? That’s just wrong.
