The three men that allegedly threw a small bomb at Huai Khwang Police Station Monday evening were found and charged yesterday.

Ekkachai Wonghajak, 20, admitted he threw the bomb as an act of revenge after his friend was arrested by the Huai Khwang police for drunk driving over the Songkran holiday.

The ping-pong ball sized bomb landed on the road near the station and exploded, but no one was hurt, reported Bangkok Post.

The other arrested men are 27-year-old Tossapol Singla, and 21-year-old Nathapong Wongsawang. Nanthapong was also the man arrested for drunk driving over the holiday.

The men threw the bomb from a Honda motorcycle, which was taken as evidence from Ekkachai’s Nonthaburi home as well as other equipment used to make small bombs, reported Thai PBS.

Ekkachai admitted to being the pillion rider that actually threw the bomb. Tossapol was driving while Nanthapong also rode pillion. Ekkachai also admitted to drinking before throwing the bomb.

The men were arrested for illegally possessing a bomb and for creating an explosion.

Maybe lay off the sauce boys?
