Thailand loses in both football and courtesy for failing to clean up after themselves (PHOTOS)

After Thailand’s sad defeat against Japan in 2018 AFC World Cup qualifier at Rajamangala Stadium on Tuesday, some Thai netizens pointed out that the real loss is the aftermath of game which left the stadium full of trash.

The stadium was filled with some five thousands enthusiastic Thai football fans. Some had to sit outside the stadium and watch the game from a large screen due to limited seating. A fan who took these photos said the trash left behind said it all about our society’s problem.

“This, for me, is what really reflects our society’s worth. If only we can use the hands we were given to throw things away, and not only use them to bring things in.” the Pantip user wrote after posting pictures of the aftermath of that night.

Many netizens who have seen these pictures lament over the state of Thailand, one saying that, “We keep on saying that Thailand is a developing country, but it seems like it’ll never be fully developed.”

Another commenter said that the littering problem goes way back to education as many Thais were not fostered in their childhood on how to deal with garbage.
