How much do you love your dog?

Quite possibly not as much as parking lot owner Boonsong Meethao, who’s hosting a buffet-style dinner party next Saturday to celebrate the pooch’s return after she recently went missing for five days.

Boonsong’s planned party went viral today after one of his parking lot customers posted a picture of him putting up a banner for the bash on their Facebook page last night.

The pet owner realized that his beloved pooch Look Moo, which means “piglet” in Thai, had gone missing on New Year’s Day, reported Khaosod.

“I knew that if she went missing for more than five days, she wouldn’t have food and water and could die. So I said if she came back in five days, I’ll throw her a buffet,” Boonsong told the local media in a broadcast interview.

In fact, Boonsong said he went so far as to make that an oath to a high power. So when Look Moo came back on the morning of Jan. 5, he, of course, had to follow through.

“I’m throwing her a homecoming party on Saturday, Jan. 26. She’s been back for a while now, but I haven’t had time to plan it until now,” the pet owner explained.

“The party will be filled with fellow dog lovers.”

Boonsong told the local media that he’s had Look Moo since before she was born as he had taken the dog’s mother in when she was just a puppy.

“She’s two years old now. In the day, she’s friendly, but at night, she’s a pretty feisty watchdog,” Boonsong added.

So, dear Coconauts, go forth and find someone who loves you as much as this man loves his dog.
