A 17-year-old teenager was charged today with making a threat after a video of him pulling a BB gun on another motorist on Vibhavadi Road went viral.
In the YouTube video, the victim, Tirayu Luang-on, 34, described how he was driving a pickup truck along Vibhavadi Road on Saturday afternoon. As he was about to enter an inner lane, a motorcycle came out of the driver’s blind spot and cut in front of him, causing him to miss his entrance.
The teen sitting on the back of the motorcycle, whose identity was withheld, then whipped out a BB gun from his bag and pointed it at Tirayu as he drove away with his friend.
The teen’s father Pasakorn turned himself in to Sutthisan police today, claiming the gun belongs to him and that he had asked his son to take it to a repair shop. He added that he had not expected his son to use the gun to threaten another person.
