Some prisoners in Angthong province must have been feeling really sick, because they needed something a whole lot stronger.
Three men are protesting their innocence after police arrested them for trying to enter a prison with bowls of spicy-bamboo soup, with a little yaba amphetamine added for extra potency.

The three soup traffickers protested their innocence, saying they had no knowledge of the soup’s secret ingredient.
One them reportedly asserted they were just helping out a friendly man named “Mr. Doe” who asked them to deliver the soup to a “Mr. Keng,” who currently calls the prison home.
Apparently the prison population has a healthy appetite for such nontraditional remedies.
Prison Director Wasan Thanachotekit said his facility has tried to increase access to family visitors, but his officers just keep finding drugs during routine searches, Khaosod reported.
