Photos of one of the most disgusting apartments ever are making the rounds on Thai social media this week.

After being shared by viral Facebook page DR.Kv.3, Thai netizens shared and commented in droves when they saw the state of these disgusting accommodations.

The photos show a place filled with garbage, soda bottles, cigarette packs, wrappers, paper, and even what looks like bags of garbage that were never taken out. The bathroom floor is completely black and looks like it might be flooded as well. More soda and water bottles fill the washroom and, the original poster noted, that there was evidence of drug use in the place, though that can’t be seen in the pictures.

The reason the photos became public is because the building management shared them along with a sign saying that, because this tenant disappeared and left his apartment in this state, there would be scheduled room inspections in the building.

“Following the incident that we have a tenant fleeing and leaving the room in this state (as pictured), we’d like to ask all tenants for cooperation to allow the management to regularly inspect your rooms,” said the sign posted with the pictures.

The sign also noted that tenants suspecting of damaging their apartments or doing drugs could have their units inspected at any time.

There are no reports of the building’s whereabouts.

Though most commenters just noted how gross the room was and wondered how anyone could live there, others expressed sadness for the person that had to clean this, while some mentioned that the former occupant might be a hoarder or mentally ill and that they felt bad for anyone who had to — or would choose to — live like that.
