Several roads across Bangkok remain flooded as the capital is hit by the thunderstorm this afternoon.

According to Department of Drainage and Sewerage, the affected roads are Phaholyothin, Rama 6, Pracharat Sai 2, Nakhon Chaisri, Rajvithi, and Pradipat.

Social media photos show both sides of Paholyothin Road flooded:

The rain was an effect of the easterly and southerly winds that were looming over upper Thailand. Bangkok is expected to experience scattered thundershowers throughout the week, according to Thai Meteorological Department.
