The Meteorological Department announced today that more rain is on the way in the next 48 hours but that temperatures will remain very hot.
Through Wednesday, summer storms will arrive due to a high pressure front moving in from China, reported Thai PBS.
The front could cause torrential storms, lightning, and even hailstorms in the north and northeast of Thailand.
In Bangkok, weather will remain cloudy with 60 percent of the city and the surrounding areas expected to be hit by storms.
