As the ASEAN Summit officially wrapped up on Tuesday, Thai PM Prayuth Chan-ocha opted for a casual political approach to Justin Trudeau by gifting the Canadian PM some pretty beach photos from his homeland.

How else would you invite a way more popular leader to visit your country? Not by talking about trade or investment — but by handing out free beach pics. Prayuth reportedly got to chat with Trudeau after the meeting and the two talked about the Canadian’s past visits to the land of smiles.

In an occasion that, sadly, wasn’t captured on video, Trudeau told Prayuth that he has traveled to Thailand several times, so Prayuth refreshed his memory by giving the Canadian leader a travel photo book, according to Weerachon Sukhontapatipak, a deputy spokesman of Prime Minister’s Office.

After the ASEAN Summit ended, Prayuth returned to Bangkok early this morning.
