Bangkok police are preparing charges against a Thai woman, dubbed “Miss Physics” in local media (we come up with nicknames fast here, folks) after she was caught on video screaming at the motorcyclist she allegedly sent sailing to the ground when she opened her taxi door into oncoming traffic.

The incident, which occured on Rama III road at about 9am on Sunday, went viral when onlooker Tongreng Sooksawan published an almost six-minute clip of its aftermath on his Facebook page.

“What do you think about her behavior?” he asks in the caption of a video that has received more than four million views and almost 60,000 shares at this point.

In the clip, the injured male can be seen lying on the street, barely moving, as a young woman wearing — wait for it — a white Mickey Mouse sweater parades around angrily.

She has not yet been identified.

“I didn’t even open the door that hard, we [the taxi she was in] weren’t even going fast … I f**king studied science. I know physics, motherf***ers. I know you’re faking motherf**ker! It’s impossible that the impact was that hard,” she can be heard screaming over and over again.

“Look at you playing dead on the floor like a f**king dog.”

If you were wondering how she got her nickname, that’s how.

“I think the speaker is drunk. Her breath smells strongly of alcohol,” Tongreng narrates at the beginning of his clip.

No matter how much the shocked onlookers try to calm her down and reason with her, our Disney-loving  firecracker refuses to back down.

At about 2pm today, 56-year-old cabbie Saranya Ooonsuwaran, who was driving “Miss Physics” at the time of the incident, went into Thung Maha Mek police station to give her statement, reported Khaosod.

Saranya explained that she had picked up the suspect at her Yan Nawa District condo and was headed to Asoke. She recalled the passenger smelling strongly of alcohol but was still able to hold a conversation.

“Right before the incident … I heard the passenger repetitively complain about the traffic before suddenly opening her door and hitting the motorbiker. I was angry at her for opening the door and told her not to take her purse and leave the car, because I was afraid she was going to bolt,” she explained.

As of today, local media reported that motorcyclist is still suffering from a bad headache and is on a saline water drip.

“Miss Physics,” meanwhile, who is reportedly planning to leave for a two-week Japan trip soon, has been ordered to present herself at the police station before her travels.

Police plan to press charges of negligence as well as causing harm to another physically or psychologically as soon as she shows up.

We’ll be sure to update this story as we get more information.
