Officials ask entertainment venues to mourn the passing of the King

The government has requested that all entertainment venues in Thailand mourn the passing of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Lt. Gen. Sunsern Kaewkumnerd, government spokesperson, said that Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha has asked all entertainment venues to refrain from operating for the time being following the passing of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Prayuth has also asked public health centers to keep a hotline open around the clock to assist those emotionally traumatized by this tragic loss, reported NNT

HM the King passed away peacefully at Siriraj Hospital yesterday afternoon.
