Coffin maker Opas Simfa, of Thep Thong coffin shop, is making the new coffins by wrapping traditional designs in computer-generated pictures. He got the idea when clients began requesting resting boxes for their parents that resembled their family homes, reported Bangkok Post.
Opas, who has been in the coffin biz for nearly 30 years, was also inspired to create his new line by seeing the paper houses burnt for dead relatives by Chinese people.
So far, the new coffins are earning lots of positive attention for Opas.
