A 28-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for shooting his ex-girlfriend at her office in front of her co-workers in Chanthaburi province.

Bodin Puangphi, 28, reportedly fired six gunshots at his ex, Papatsara Mitpakdee, 26, at a finance company she worked at. Papatsara collapsed and died under at her desk.

Her co-worker, Ronnapop Mongkhol-iam, said that no one at the office paid attention when Bodin came in because he was in a relationship with the victim, but out of the blue, he pulled out a gun and shot his ex.

Bodin escaped on his motorbike and was arrested on the same day at his relative’s house.

Bodin told police that he and Papatsara were in a relationship for two years, until last month, when they got in a fight and broke up because the victim caught Bodin cheating.

Bodin attempted to get back with his ex, but Papatsara refused. Before she was murdered, the woman reportedly filed a police report that Bodin bodily assaulted and threatened to kill her, Kapook reported.

Bodin reportedly confessed to the murdering his ex-girlfriend. A crime-reenactment was carried out yesterday, Khaosod reported.
