Police have identified a homeless man who lived under the Thai-Belgian bridge as a suspect in the fire that caused major damage to the structure on Feb. 28.

The suspect, identified as Samran Muangkiew, 31, is said to be the leader of the group of men who walk through intersections in Silom washing car windows for tips. He is reported to have a dragon tattoo on his chest. He is wanted on charges of reckless action causing fire and property damage.

Police have announced a THB10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest, Daily News reported.

Police said that Samran has been arrested seven times on drugs charges and has not contacted his family for more than a decade.

One side of Thai-Belgian bridge will remain closed until April 18.
