Jacket selfie time! It’s cold and windy once again in Thailand

Strong weather is now expected in the north and Gulf-areas. Thailand experienced unseasonably rainy days in January and now will have some colder days as well.

Northern Thailand is still windy and cold, with temperatures lowering even more today as part of a cold spell moving down from China, reported the Meteorological Department on Monday.

Thais and others that live in the northern regions are advised to take special precautions to protect themselves as the weather can change quite quickly. People should make sure that the inside of their home is warm enough, dress in lawyers and eat warm and nourishing foods.

Meanwhile, Bangkokians will enjoy pleasant temperatures of 26 degrees Celsius today, and the weather is expected to remain cool until Thursday.

While the northern regions experience cold, the southern and Gulf areas are experiencing strong gusts of wind and dangerously large waves that can threaten small boats as well as small homes at the seashore until Thursday, reported Thai PBS.
